1st day of 2012 and it was already showing a great sign, coz this time around it was not only my dad and I went to the Sri Marathandavar Aalayam Temple, Maran (check out HERE-yup 365 days ago) but mum and sistas tagged along too. And i just received my 1st winning of 2012 today - 010112. :)

We seek for blessing from the Almighty and received our 'balance' of life during that afternoon prayers. It was packed..not the usual compare to last year atmosphere. Nevertheless, i felt very calm and peace being here. And as usual, temples served vegetarian meal..So we had our simple yet tasty and filling meal of the day..

So many colours and today somewhat was a lot livelier than 2011. Maybe due to the extra 1 day from the weekend holiday.

There were peddler selling punjabi suits and jeepa. For RM12 each, all of us couldnt help it but to take 1 home each. Then it was picture time. The day was pretty hot and sunny. Much delighted to cameras as for the generosity of natural light backing up.

Temples-a holy place where the devotion aura are pretty strong to be felt.It felt even so right being with the person most dear to us..after all Family is everything. The only thing missing was the boys, Ronnie and Anand.

Reached home in the evening and after some rest, we are good to prepare for a BBQ feast. I started the fire with our new BBQ pit. Ratha did most of the cooking. Mum, Moly and Puspaa helped up on the food too. It was raining heavily and the wind somewhat or rather helped the fire to burn those charcoal with amazing effect. Dad come to the rescue later..haha. We had chicken wings, hotdog, fishballs, spaghetti with seafood chowder sauce and kebab.

Had great fun laughing and chatting the night away not till a few round game of cards, that ended up me with a poker face.. So how was your New year? hope it was sweeetttt too. Here toast to a memorable year of happiness with balance of life!adios!
