Orait if you are a HUGE football fan then you probably already half way through the answers. However for those who are not but since your curiosity level has rose up so high, then read further. 

1) WHAT is Mencari Ramli 2 about?

It's the latest campaign by TM following the success of Mencari Ramli 1st Season where the quest to search for the country's most promising football talent.

The 1st season of Mencari Ramli in 2012 saw 30 young talented footballers from Bukit Jalil Sport School tried to showcase their passion and talent where ultimately only 2 winners were chosen. One were drafted into the Harimau Muda Under-21 team while another finalist landing a stint as a striker in the U.S Arezzo football club Under-17 team in Italy. oh my..what a great once on lifetime opportunity man!

Mencari Ramli 2 is a docu-reality series that is looking for Malaysia's Best Footballer under 16, where they will be sent to Manchester United Soccer School to be trained and groomed to become "Ramli" (who else?) and becoming the next Malaysian football talent. This is a continuous effort in searching talent via series of events at 12 locations across Malaysia. The main objective is to provide a platform for young footballers to realize their football dreams. It is also a campaign to encourage Team Malaysia spirit through this reality show. Expect no drama, as this is serious business and help to raise the standards of our young local football talents. On top of all that, it is also to get parents to discover the potential in their own children and provide a solid support system. The show started on 19 April 2013,Friday at TV3 from 7.30pm-8.00pm. Again, top 30 talents will be selected for the finals, where 2 winners will be chosen by the judges and one through public voting. All in the quest to win the trip to the Manchester United Soccer School and also not forgetting the legendary Old Trafford with a 3 years scholarship to attend Frenz United Football Academy.  

2) WHO is Ramli 2?

Aaahhhaaaa...Ramli is a Malaysian boy below the age of 16 with an extremely skillful talent at playing football. Beside that he is also a team player that committed and have great passion for football. Basically Ramli could be the best goal keeper, defender, midfielder or even the best striker. But most importantly the most talented player. I think RAMLI 2 going to be this cute small built boy but with the biggest dream to the hall of fame.

Haih..Honestly, I was so excited and my enthusiasm level was higher than the tallest mountain about going for the audition until when they decided to search for a boy instead of a girl. So to soothe my disappointment, I decide to show them what I got. Check out the video below: 

Unfortunately my application was rejected but I bet you didn't expect that right? hehehe. Anyway moving forward..

4) WHY Ramli 2?

Because they want to create more RAMLI. its like our RAMLY burger with local touch that after sought even after all the fastfood chain mushrooming  c'mon we still crave for that particular Ramly burger coz at the end of the day, its still taste the best with a twist, right? And they need someone to accompany this winners from Season 1.

5) HOW to be Ramli 2?

Do you have the burning passion towards football? Is your motto in life are eat, sleep and play football? If you could dribble, juggle,  banana kick, scoring the most sway goals, sombrero, step overs or even spinning the football, then I suggest you or someone you know to attend the audition to be the next RAMLI.

I am not only a football fan (particularly  Manchester United) that burn the midnight oil to watch their matches in the wee hours but I consider myself as a self-taught Manchester United football players wannabe. Old Trafford certainly has been in my bucket list so I would like to think that this blogpost is certainly the stairway for me to score a trip to OLD TRAFFORD nevertheless! If only i fit the criteria of a RAMLI, i definitely would have go for the auditions..heeheee

Life's Good With DaVinci the Genius

Have you ever wondered how is it feels to fly for the first time? Have you ever wondered how is it feels surviving inside your mother’s womb? Or have you ever wondered why this and why that? Well, If you are one of those homo sapiens that curious about objects, science, life or even if you are none of the above, stepping into the world acclaimed exhibition, Da Vinci –The Genius will definitely change you into one.

I was lucky enough to win 2 tickets from the blog LG Life’s Good Blog contest at http://www.lgblog.com.my/ few months ago. I make myself free for this highly anticipated event last week which was also the last day of the exhibition at Pusat Sains Negara since commencing on 1st October 2009. Let me share some of my unforgettable moment and experience while I gazed the most arguably Da Vinci-the Genius brings to life anticipation. The minute I reached there, I was amazed by these huge gigantic architecture planetarium.

If me as an adult could feel the attraction shown there let alone this kid that was really absorbed by the marine life in this colorful aquarium. It was that interesting..you know.

But be careful or else you might get tangled up on a spiderweb too.hehehe So while we were heading towards the exhibition hall at LeveL 2, we couldn’t keep our eyes off from the graffiti and the surrounding that was really well maintained. The only setback was no pictures are allowed inside the exhibition but it’s all good like LG-Life’s Good. I could hear others and including myself awe in astonishment with jaw-dropping of Wah, ooohhh and aaahhhh as we stepped in. The exhilarating trail simply leaves me breathless. (paused) ok let’s continue admiring his masterpiece.My admiration towards Da Vinci –the genius has just raised 100% higher. It was so mysterious almost dreamy that I thought I was actually ‘dropped off’ to that era at that moment. Suddenly it became so intense with curiosity and somewhat moves me emotionally. My god..it gives me goosebump and piercing my spine almost second to none. Da Vinci the Genius? I beg to differ. How I wish I could take a picture of the most enigmatic smile, super size with high resolution print, none other than the famous lady named Mona Lisa?

Or even try to be inside the military tank. Not to mention of trying the first machine of human flight. The interactive short video clips on Mona Lisa and life revolving Da Vinci was captivating enough that we don’t mind to watch it over and over again. The pictures below are taken from http://www.davincithegenius.com.my/Gallery.asp . This is just a glimpse of what was displayed there. Such a HUGE waste if i did not witness this. Thank LG once again for organizing the contest, it was an eye-opener.Being a left-handed myself, I remembered when I was a little girl that I used to hate writing especially if it leaves stain on my palm. You know why? Coz we left-handed was trained to write like a right-handed so the movement will slide from left to right instead of from right to left. Some of my childhood memories just spilt out like a full glass of milk. How I used to keep mirror writings as secret code from others. Interestingly enough, it doesn’t really hit me at that time that this multi-talented man was the master of modern mind during the ancient time.
Intriguing and I must say my entire Sunday was well spent..Intellectually. Bursting energy with this iconic genius that shaken the world with his infamous ideas, creation and masterpiece.

Sayang to use it, so keep it safely as my collections.LG has not only given me this opportunity to see, but also to feel the vibrations that grip my soul with inspiration and mind blowing educational discovery experience. Unethical Contest Organizer by Sony Music and TM

2 Aug 09- I was delighted that my artwork was shortlisted. even though my artwork was not chosen as Lenka's favorite during her showcase happening at 1 Utama earlier this afternoon but at least it shall be done fairly. No..im not blaming her...beauty in the eyes of the beholder so it was the contest mechanics by unethical organizer like Sony Music and TM /Hypp.tv that i wasnt so pleased. I want my artwork back! and please honour the rest of the shortlisted entry as stated in the terms n condition of the contest.

And this was my letter to them...

To whom it may concern,

My name is Devi and I would like to highlight my dissatisfaction on the mechanics for Best Artwork contest featuring Lenka.

First of all, it was clearly stated in the Star (as attached) that only 4 entries will be shortlisted but the closing date of submission was on 27 july 2009. On the same occasion, there will be a voting system for the shortlisted entries via the website at http://www.hypp.tv/ . 6 entries were uploaded in http://www.hypp.tv/ after the closing date (28 july 2009) but eventually the contest was later extended to 29 july 2009. On 31 july 2009, i noticed that the 7th entry was uploaded out of the sudden. My question is, is it ethical for renowned brand and partner like yourself to actually accept entry that was sent after the closing date? Would it be fair to those that has work hard to finish up their artwork and sent in earlier, on or before the closing date? I personally feel that the last entry supposed to be disqualified as it doesn’t meet the terms and condition (tnc) It’s not only unfair but how such unprofessionalism decision was made by big company like yourself?

Kindly check all the angst by the artistes themselves /concern parents and even the public on the rules of the contest in the ShoutMix at http://lenka.hypp.tv/ . I am writing to you as a representative to the rest that not only felt ‘cheated’ but unappreciated as well. I do hope the same situation shouldn’t be repeated as this is not only ruining your reputation as so called well-to-known brands but we really has started to lose confident on your signature branding.

Last but not least, thank you for short listing my art work for the preliminary round. But sadly enough that after the winner was chosen by Lenka herself, don’t the organizer supposed to also reward the three runners up as stated in the contest tnc. Unfortunately, I have to personally approach one of your Sony staff and request for my ‘prize’. Which I find it’s rather disturbing and equally inconvenient. I am pretty sure the other ‘artiste’ went back home not only devastated and disappointed but empty handed as well. I don’t mind if every entry was submitted as per requirement as art is sumthing subjective. So what if the last entry was nice and was chosen by Lenka, the fact it was not meet the requirement , the entry was not supposed to be there in the first place.

I am requesting for some feedback regarding the above-said matter and what are your next actions or advice for those artistes that was not rewarded as promised? Are you going to honour their hard work?

Oh ya..i m sure they will give a lot of 'excuses' on the late entry submitted that it was received earlier but uploaded after the closing date or it was the management discretion on the contest mechanics without any notifications and what not. please enough of lame excuses ok? Did Lenka ever know about this matter ? i doubt so.

And since I am such an emo piece of paper art right now..so there u goes....a picture of the Lenka at the showcase earlier this afternoon.
